
SITUATION
•On August 14, 2023 – The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) announced the launch of the highly anticipated Digital Prosperity Awards to honor and celebrate the remarkable digital contributions that enable prosperity for all, particularly in advancing the digital economy, which has a critical role in boosting nations’ development and growth.
TASK
•To develop strategic communication plan for DCO to drive the dissemination of press materials for the Awards in the Africa member countries.
•To provide Public Relations support for the announcement of the Awards in member African countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Rwanda and Djibouti.
•To engage Digital/ Tech social influencers in all the African markets to drive conversation on the Awards.
APPROACH
•Agency planned and executed activities leading up to the announcement of the launch of the Digital Prosperity Awards.
